Journalist shot dead in Pakistan
December 15th, 2010 - 1:29 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Dec 15 (IANS) A journalist was shot dead in Khuzdar town in Pakistan’s Balochistan province, police said Wednesday.Mohammad Khan Sasoli, who was president of Khuzdar Press Club, was gunned down Tuesday evening.
Dawn quoted a police officer as saying that Sasoli was attacked by armed men in the Civil Lines area.
The attackers came on a motorcycle and fled after opening fire on Sasoli.
The journalist was taken to hospital but he died before receiving any medical treatment.
Sasoli was associated with the Daily Balochistan Time and also worked for some television channels.
