Washington, April 10 (ANI): Jessica Simpson has followed in the footsteps of Lindsay Lohan by recreating a famous photo shoot from the 1960s.

In 1965, Italian actress Verna Lisi was photographed shaving her face for the cover of Esquire, reports People.

And now Simpson has recreated the photo for the latest issue of Esquire.

The pictorial inside the magazine’s 75th anniversary issue shows a swimsuit-clad Simpson under a shower of water.

“She was a sport. She was pretty much wet the whole time,” People quoted a source, as saying.

In February, Lohan posed nude for New York magazine to recreate Marilyn Monroe’s legendary 1962 shoot. (ANI)
