Karachi, May 19 (ANI): An Indian Visa Office might be opened in Karachi to prevent citizens from the hassle of going to Islamabad and bear heavy expenditures for getting Indian Visa.

A senior city official Mustafa Kamal expressed this view while talking to Indian High Commissioner Sharat Sabharwal who called on him at his office in Civic Centre and discussed with him matters of mutual interest.

He said that the conditions in the region were not good, The News reported.

India and Pakistan should take more measures for improvement in bilateral relations so that the two countries could deal with the present circumstances with joint efforts and coordination, he said.

Sabharwal acknowledged the development works carried out in the city during Kamal’s tenure. He said that other cities of the world should also follow this example. (ANI)
