Indian Mughal jewellery exhibition opens in Kuala Lumpur
July 31st, 2010 - 2:22 pm ICT by ANIKuala Lumpur, July 31 (ANI): Malaysian King Mizan Zainal Abidin opened an exhibition showcasing Mughal era jewellery in Kuala Lumpur last weekend.
The “Treasury of the World: Jewelled Arts of India in the Age of the Mughals” exhibition displays historic jewellery from the personal collection of Sheikh Nasser Sabah al-Ahmed al-Sabah and wife, Sheikha Hussah al-Sabah of Kuwait, who rank amongst the most avid collectors of Indian jewelled arts in the world, reports The Star Online.
Queen Tuanku Nur Zahirah was also present at the exhibition’s inauguration. (ANI)
