Islamabad, Nov.15 (ANI): Pakistan Foreign Office (FO) Spokesman Abdul Basit has blamed India of acquiring a casual approach towards important bilateral issues, including Kashmir.

Basit said while Islamabad has extended its hand for the resumption of bilateral talks, New Delhi has not responded positively to its calls.

“Pakistan does not believe in any background diplomacy, and there is need of sincerity and seriousness for settlement of all issues including Kashmir dispute,” The News quoted Basit, as saying.

He also criticised the Indian leadership for giving contradictory statements and pointing fingers towards Pakistan for every terror activity.

Denying Islamabad’s role in the Mumbai terror attacks, Basit said Pakistani intelligence agencies did their best to collect all information regarding the attacks to help India in the investigations. (ANI)
