Imran Khan to meet Pakistani-Britons
July 12th, 2011 - 9:44 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, July 12 (IANS) Cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan would visit Britain and speak to Pakistani-origin people about the current political situation in his country, an official said.
Imran — who is also chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party — will address a gathering in the British capital July 16, the party’s Britain coordinator Rabia Zia was quoted as saying by the Online news agency.
He would brief the overseas Pakistanis about the current political situation in Pakistan and also speak about his party’s “Remove the government for a sovereign, independent, secure and United Pakistan” campaign.
