Kuala Lumpur, Apr 2 (ANI): Malaysian artist Hannah Tan is “auctioning” herself to raise funds for the earthquake and tsunami victims in Japan.

The highest bidder at the event - a charity gala dinner jointly organised by Max Generation Sdn Bhd and Eastin Hotel in Petaling Jaya - will get to join her for a karaoke session.

Hannah, who hopes to raise 100,000 ringgits, said she was devastated by the disasters in Japan.

“I was shocked. Earthquakes are common in Japan, but not tsunamis,” the Star Online quoted Hannah, who lives in Japan, as telling The Daily Chilli.

“Everyone there, including me, has an earthquake kit that we can buy from the supermarket.

“I have experienced many earthquakes while living in Tokyo. You can still run in the street if there is an earthquake. But how do you run from the tsunami?,” she added. (ANI)
