Islamabad, Dec 24 (IANS) Hang us but don’t deport us: That’s the plea five US nationals arrested for their alleged involvement in terrorist activities have made to the Pakistani government.
They said that if they were handed over to the US, there was a possibility that they would be treated inhumanly and didn’t want to be insulted and humiliated by the American intelligence agencies, Online news agency reported.
In these circumstance, they said they were appealing to the Pakistani government to decide their fate and that they would prefer the death sentence to deportation.
Pakistani authorities say the five young men used the social networking site Facebook and the Internet video site YouTube to try to connect with extremist groups in this country.
The Anti Organized-Crime Cell had arrested the five men during a raid on a house situated in the Aziz Bhatti Town locality of Punjab’s Sargodha city.
According to a private TV channel, the five men have now been shifted to Lahore’s Chohang Training Center for further interrogation.

These animals should not have been American “nationals” to begin with. They should never be allowed to set foot on US soil again, and their families should be stripped of their visas or their citizenship and deported. They are traitors. But why punish these young men with the death penalty? A more just punishment would be for them to live out their miserable, loser lives in a nice Muslim country, with all the freedom and prosperity Muslim countries have to offer, and never taste freedom ever again.
