‘Go America Go movement’ would lead Pak towards freedom, says JI
January 25th, 2010 - 6:05 pm ICT by ANIKarachi, Jan. 25 (ANI): Jamaat-e-Islami chief Syed Munawar Hasan has said that ‘Go America Go movement’ would lead Pakistan towards real freedom.
“Islam is the future of Pakistan. Go America Go campaign is the voice of peoples hearts,” The News quoted Hasan, as saying.
Addressing the gathering in Karachi on Sunday, he claimed that a large majority of Pakistanis reject the US meddling in the country’s affairs.
He added that the JI had been waging a struggle against the dictatorship since the very start of its formation, and the entire society would recover if few thousands people of the ruling class, who had been besieging the country and nation, could be expelled from politics.
The western culture has failed, he said, adding that capitalist system has not given anything other than poverty, hunger, interest, disease and disparity. (ANI)
