Paris, May 4(ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has once again laid stress on having close cooperation with France in security and defence matters, and has termed it as a reliable counterpart.
He said that enhanced cooperation would enable both sides to counter terrorism and extremism. French military supplies could strengthen the Pakistan’s ongoing military operation against terrorism.
According to Daily Times, France has agreed to extend military support to Pakistan including the provision of arms and ammunitions. French support had helped Pakistan Air Force possess the largest fleet of Mirages 3 and 4 and enable the upgradation of three Agosta 90 class submarines.(ANI)
