Islamabad, Dec. 24 (ANI): Pakistani Premier Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that he doesnt want any tension on the Indo-Pak borders.
Gilani vowed to act responsibly and cautiously to ease the tension between two nations, which arose after India blamed Pakistan based elements for the Mumbai terror attacks, the Daily Times reported.
Nobody wants tensions on the borders, and we are moving responsibly and with caution, the Prime Minister said.
Gilani also spoke on the preparedness of Pakistan army while referring to the speculation of a probable war that could be thrust on Pakistan amid rising tensions with India over the Mumbai attacks.
Gilani said that Pakistans armed forces were prepared to deal with any situation and the nation and the army were united in defending the country.
As for the Mumbai attacks, he said any evidence related to the attacks would be made public.
However, Gilani expressed his urge to maintain good ties with India based on mutual respect. (ANI)
