General Kapoor’s remarks lack strategic acumen: Pak JCSC
January 3rd, 2010 - 12:32 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )Islamabad, Jan.3 (ANI): Pakistan Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (JCSC) Chairman General Tariq Majid while criticising the Indian Army Chief General Deepak Kapoor’s recent statement regarding war with Pakistan and China simultaneously, has said that such remarks only highlights the lack of strategic acumen on part of India.
“Leave alone China, General Deepak Kapoor knows very well what the Indian Army cannot and the Pakistan Army can pull off militarily,” The Daily Times quoted General Majid, as saying.
“The Indian Army chief could not be so outlandish in strategic postulations to fix India on a self-destruct mechanism,” he added.
General Kapoor had earlier said that the Indian Army is well prepared to take on Pakistan and China simultaneously. (ANI)
