Fire engulfs Karachi’s cloth warehouse
January 6th, 2012 - 12:45 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Jan 6 (IANS) A fire engulfed a cloth warehouse in an industrial area of Pakistan’s Karachi city early Friday, Geo News reported. There were no reports of casualties.
The incident occurred in Korangi industrial area, which is one of the largest industrial areas of the country in the port city’s Korangi town.
A car, two motorcycles and the entire goods kept in the godown gutted in the incident, said a fire brigade official.
At least four fire brigade vans have been pressed into service to douse the fire, he added.
