Facebook open invite wrecks PS4.4m Spanish mansionMay 30th, 2008 - 3:20 pm ICT by admin
London , May 30 (ANI): A schoolgirls open invite on Facebook turned her birthday party into a disastrous gate-crashing extravaganza, wherein drunken teenagers trashed a Spanish mansion, worth 4.4 million pounds.
Jodie Hudson’s 16th birthday bash was thronged by over 400 youngsters in Marbella , Spain . The hysterical gatecrashers stole jewellery worth 6,000 pounds, swiped designer clothes and even threw a TV in the pool.
While the inmates of the house did call the police to cease the wild party, it was of no avail. The police did not turn up in time to control the drunk teenagers from shattering the seven-bedroom luxury pad.
“The place looked like a war zone. All the banisters have been broken. The walls are ruined, the carpets are destroyed, furniture is broken and it is going to take months to sort out, The Sun quoted one partygoer, as saying.
The teenage schoolgirl invited her pals to her birthday bash luring them with the promise of booze and a DJ.
After the carnage, the teenagers however, posed for pictures at the devastated party-scene and posted them online.
Now Jodie must be feeling the after-effects of the event, what with her estate agent mum, Amanda - who did not know her daughter had made the online invite - grounding her.
Each summer, the affluent family rent out the villa to holiday makers for 4,000 pounds per week. But this year, they will be unable to lease out the home after the gatecrashers made the house “uninhabitable”. (ANI)
