Earth Quake measuring 6.4 rocks Pak Punjab, NWFP

- Islamabad, Oct.23 (ANI): Several parts of Pakistan including capital Islamabad, Peshawar, and Lahore was jolted late Thursday night by a strong earth quake measuring 6.4 on the richter scale.
Strong tremors were also felt in parts of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), Rawalpindi and some areas of the North West Frontier Province, The Nation reports.
According to meteorological department, the epicenter of the quake was 180 kilometres deep near the Hindu Kush mountain range.
No casualties were reported till the reports last arrived.
The quake brought back the memories of the devastating earthquake that struck the region in 2005, as television footage showed panicky people gathered outside their homes across the region. (ANI)
