Demonstration in UK over murder of Baloch leader
July 28th, 2010 - 7:21 pm ICT by ANILondon, July 28(ANI): Baloch Human Rights Council and World Sindhi Congress held a demonstration outside British Prime Minister’s official residence at 10 Downing Street in London to express their anger over the brutal murder of Balochistan National Party Secretary General Habi Jalib.
A large number of the political, social and human rights activists joined the protest and condemned the Baloch leader’s killing.
Those who were present during the demonstration included Mir Noordin Mengal, Waja Akbar Barakzai, Mir Aslam Buledi, Qader Jatoi, Rahim Bandvoi, Jamshed Amiri, Mir Ghulam Hussain, and Samad Baloch.
Some of the leaders condemned atrocities against the Baloch, and called the international community to take notice of the recent killing of the nationalist leader and others.
They also raised serious concern about the fate of hundreds of missing persons in Balochistan. (ANI)
