Islamabad, Mar. 7 (ANI): Pakistan Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sherry Rehman on Saturday said that in civilized societies decisions are made at table and not on streets.

She was responding on PML-N chief Nawaz Sharifs claim of a politically stable and economically viable Pakistan.

Negotiations are not possible without showing flexibility. Bloodshed is all we see on streets, which only results in bringing the wheel of economy to standstill. In civilized societies decisions are made at table and not on streets, Rehman told reporters here.

The Minister also seemed to resolve the issues with the PML-N in an amicable manner.

We have spent a long time with Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and we want to resolve all the issues with the PML-N in an amicable manner, he added.

PML-N chief had earlier on Friday said that the dream of a politically stable and economically viable Pakistan would soon come true.

He said the people of Pakistan have been demanding their rights for the last 60 years and soon they will emerge victorious.

Sharif said the PML-N would fulfill the commitments it made to the people.

A new era of hope and democracy would usher in the country. The PML-N would ensure the supremacy of law and constitution, he added.

He also criticized the President Zardari for belittling his own words.

Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari belittled his own words by not honoring his promises that were enshrined in the Charter of Democracy (CoD), Sharif said.

I did not compromise over people’’s interest. We joined the federal cabinet on Zardaris insistence and I did not ask for any material benefit from Zardari before and even after the general elections, Nawaz said. (ANI)
