Weixun from Shenyang, Liaoning province and Yan from Xiamen came to know each through the Internet in 2005 and married five months later.
However, only a few months into the marriage the two started quarrelling over trivial issues.
Li said: “The fights were so frequent that it seemed absurd to stay together. But staying away from each other seemed impossible because of the love we shared.”
But two months ago, the pair decided to observe one day in the week as a “no fighting day”, reports the China Daily.
Xiao said: “That single day has improved our relationship a great deal.” (ANI)
