The incident had taken place in Baotou, the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, last week, when the boy’s mother had left him unattended near an escalator, China Daily reported.
The boy, who was rushed to a nearby hospital, suffered multiple fractures.
But doctors have revealed that he will survive. (ANI)
