China trade fair opens in Nepali capitalApril 25th, 2008 - 7:53 pm ICT by admin
Kathmandu, April 25 (Xinhua) A Chinese trade fair organised by the Nepal-China Executive Council and the Chinese embassy got under way in the Nepali capital Friday. Around 80,000 people are expected to visit the “China Trade Fair 2008″ April 25-28, being organised at the Birendra International Conference Centre (BICC) here.
Nepal’s Information and Communication Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara and China’s envoy to Nepal Zheng Xianglin inaugurated the fair.
The Nepal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the co-organiser of the four-day event.
Around 45 exhibitors will display their products, ranging from automobiles and wind power generation equipment to home appliances and electronic items, among others. Chinese investors will also attend the fair.
