Cabinet gives nod to 15 PSLV operation flights funding

- New Delhi, Mar 20 (ANI): The Cabinet on Thursday gave its approval for funding of fifteen Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) operational flights (C14 to C28).
The funding will cost Rs. 1518 crores with a foreign exchange component of Rs. 116 crores.
The major expected achievements will include, the national needs of launching Remote Sensing, Navigation and Space Science satellites planned for the 11th Plan period and beyond, enhanced reliability and capability for PSLV and sustaining production at Indian Industry.
PSLV C14 to C28 are planned to be realized during the time frame 2009-2012. (ANI)
