Quetta, Sep.5 (ANI): A local court here has rejected the petition filed for registering a case against former President General Pervez Musharraf in connection with Baloch leader Nawab Akbar Bugti’s killing.
The Sibi Session Court, in its verdict, said that since Bugti was killed in Taratani region, the case should be heard in the Kohlu District Court.
The petition filed by Jamil Akbar Bugti, son of Akbar Bugti, asked the court to direct the authorities to register a case Musharraf along with former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, former Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Mohammad Yousaf and other senior officials.
The court had reserved its verdict after the hearing was completed on Wednesday, The Dawn reports. (ANI)
