BSF trooper injured in firing by Pakistani Rangers
December 30th, 2011 - 10:16 pm ICT by IANSJammu, Dec 30 (IANS) A Border Security Force (BSF) trooper was injured when Pakistani Rangers opened unprovoked fire on the Indian posts along the international border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba sector Friday evening, according to BSF sources. Firing was still on around 7.30 p.m.
BSF sources said the Pakistani Rangers opened fire on forward posts in Samba sector, 50 km south-west of Jammu at 5.30 p.m. Friday, injuring one trooper.
The Indian side retaliated and the exchange of fire was still continuing.
