Briton killed in Afghan police shooting
July 23rd, 2012 - 9:33 pm ICT by IANSLondon, July 23 (IANS) An Afghan soldier shot dead three foreigners, including a British citizen, who were training police recruits, the Guardian reported Monday.
The attack took place in western Afghanistan’s Herat city Sunday.
The gunman, who targeted the police mentors - all civilians employed by Nato - was stationed at the regional police training centre on the outskirts of Herat.
He was shot dead after he opened fire.
