Bomb blasts rocks Pakistani city following twin suicide blasts earlier
March 12th, 2010 - 11:42 pm ICT by BNO NewsLAHORE, PAKISTAN (BNO NEWS) — Three bomb blast left at least three people injured on Friday in the Pakistani city of Lahore, hours after a twin bomb attack that left more than 40 people killed, according to Express TV.
Firefighters and ambulances rushed to the scene in a residential area where a police station was targeted in a first explosion. The second one left one car completely destroyed. A third explosion was reported few miles away.
The four bomb blasts came only days after a deadly terror attack when a suicide bomber struck a house used by the Pakistani military in the same city killing at least 15 people.
Taliban militants also struck in other parts of Pakistan in recent days. The American-based aid group World Vision was attacked in the district of Mansehra. At least six Pakistani employees died.
