Body of dead US sent back home
January 31st, 2008 - 8:28 pm ICT by adminIslamabad, Jan.31 (ANI): The dead body of American diplomat Keith Ryan has been sent back home, Foreign Office spokesman Mohammad Sadiq said on Wednesday.
Thirty-seven-year-old Ryan was found dead at his residence on Monday, the day he was due to return to his country. He had a bullet wound in his skull and is thought to have committed suicide. An autopsy was not carried out, local dailies here quoted Sadiq, as saying.
“In deference to the wishes of the family and the US Embassy and the fact that the late official had a diplomatic status, an autopsy was not done here but it could be done elsewhere,” Sadiq said. (ANI)
