Blasts near Pakistan checkpost
August 10th, 2011 - 1:28 am ICT by IANSIslamabad, Aug 9 (IANS) Three blasts were heard Tuesday night near a security checkpost in southwest Pakistan, Xinhua reported.
The explosions occurred around 9.30 p.m. near a checkpost in Panjgur district of Balochistan province, the Urdu channel Geo TV reported.
The checkpost is about 500 km from Quetta, the provincial capital. Firing was heard after the blasts. The area is close to the border with Iran. No further details were immediately available.
