Bank robber shot dead in Karachi
January 11th, 2012 - 6:13 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Jan 11 (IANS) A bank robber who was armed with a hand grenade was gunned down by police Wednesday in Pakistan’s port city of Karachi.
Two other robbers, however, managed to flee from the Bohri Bazaar area, Geo News reported.
Police said the three men were roaming around a private bank. When they tried to catch the three men, the alleged robbers shot at them. Police retaliated, and in the exchange of gunfire, one robber was killed.
