Baloch Liberation Front claims responsibility for attacks on Pak Navy buses
April 28th, 2011 - 12:29 pm ICT by ANIKarachi, April 28(ANI): The Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for the two separate bomb attacks on Pakistan Navy buses in Karachi on Tuesday, in which four persons were killed and dozens wounded.
The first attack took place on a navy bus carrying 50 personnel in the Defence Phase II area, killing two navy officers and injuring 37 others.
The second bus, carrying 35 naval personnel, was hit by a roadside bomb on Northern Bypass near Baldia Town, in which two navy men and 19 personnel injured.
BLF spokesman Basham Baloch called up media offices from an undisclosed location, and claimed responsibility for the both attacks on Pakistan navy buses, Balochjohd.com reports. The spokesman said that the attack was in revenge for the blood of innocent Baloch people, whose bodies were found daily in parts of Balochistan.
Basham further said that the Baloch people were struggling according to international laws, but the Pakistan forces were continuously violating the international war laws.
Therefore, the BLF has now decided to attack the Pakistan forces anywhere in Pakistan, he said, warning that the attack on Navy buses in Karachi was just the beginning. (ANI)
