At least four people killed after U.S. drone strike in NW Pakistan
April 26th, 2010 - 2:08 pm ICT by BNO NewsISLAMABAD (BNO NEWS) — At least four people were killed on Monday in Pakistan after a U.S. drone attack, local media reported, quoting local sources as saying.
An unmanned U.S. aircraft fired three missiles in Khushali Torikhel, a village in North Waziristan, a tribal region bordering Afghanistan, Geo News reported.
Several people were injured after the drone strike, Geo News added, and said at least four spy planes kept making low flights nearby.
According to CNN, 29 drone strikes this year have hit locations in North Waziristan and its border with South Waziristan.
