At least 24 LTTE terrorists killed in Sri Lanka

Colombo, Dec 20 (ANI): At least 24 LTTE Cadres have been killed, during separate attacks by defence forces. According to the Sri Lanka Media Centre for National Security, the attacks took place on Wednesday in Mannar, Vavuniya and Jaffna Districts.
Six rebels were killed in Vavuniya and Mannar, while eleven were killed in the Narikkulam area of Mannar.
Four more were killed in the Muhamalai area of Jaffna.
Meanwhile, the European Union (EU) has condemned last weeks abduction and killing of a Sri Lankan Red Cross volunteer in Jaffna.
The EU urged the Sri Lankan Government to protect humanitarian workers and to investigate killings properly. (ANI)
