Islamabad, Mar 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) An American Al Qaeda terrorist had been arrested over the weekend and it was believed to be Adam Gadahn. But now the Pakistani intelligence officials have confirmed that the person in custody is not the 31 year old Adam Gadahn at all, but rather it was Abu Yahya Mujahideen Adam, who is a native of Pennsylvania and an operative for Al Qaeda as well.
It was a rude shock for the US to learn that the Southern California native Adam Gadahn (who has a huge prize of $1 million on his head, by the US government) was not arrested, as he is wanted by the US on treason charges, as he is a vital component of the terrorist network of Al Qaeda. Adam Gadahn belongs to the Riverside region, and he is also a spokesperson and a top-notch propagandist for the Al Qaeda terror network. On Monday, there were initials doubts over the claims of the Pakistani intelligence officials that they had arrested the very-wanted Adam Gadahn. Then the Pakistani intelligence officials double-checked and found that they had committed a major mistake, as the person arrested was not the Adam Gadahn. Then they publicly acknowledged their mistake, and said that the arrested man has been send for interrogation to Islamabad.
