Islamabad, Aug 17 (ANI): Pakistan ambassador in Kabul Sadiq Khan has said that the country has offered to the Afghan Government to train its civilians and security institution officials, and that Islamabad is cooperating with Kabul in this regard.

According to The Nation, Khan added that India has also offered to train Afghan troops but the Afghan Government would finally decide with whom it wants friendship.

Although he said that it was up to Kabul to establish its ties with any country, he added that if Afghan soil would be used against Pakistan then obviously it would express its concern.

“India is not Afghanistan’s neighbour country and Pakistan is Afghanistan neighbour state. Afghan soil can be used against Pakistan because we are in its neighbourhood but Afghanistan cannot be used against India as India is far away from Afghanistan,” he said. (ANI)
