A women’s only fest in Peshawar
May 6th, 2011 - 12:47 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, May 6 (IANS) A three-day social and cultural event for women began in Peshawar Friday.
The festival, called `Huner-i-Hawwa’, will have music, delicious food and innovative games.
The Tourism Corporation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which is organising the event, said it wanted to bring together women from all walks of life and provide them with an opportunity to interact and get entertained.
Zehra Alam, an organiser, said that the stall owners would be women.
An outdoor fashion show will be held to showcase talent of upcoming designers.
The exhibition area will have competitions in painting, cooking, mehndi and bridal makeup.
