3 extremists killed, 22 arrested in Swat, Malakand
September 15th, 2009 - 9:52 pm ICT by ANISwat, Sep 15 (ANI): Three extremists were killed and 22 others arrested as security forces continued their operation to flush out militants from Swat and Malakand.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted search operation at Mangaltan and killed three terrorists.
Four terrorists voluntarily surrendered to security forces at Chuprial, The News reports.
Security forces apprehended 12 suspects from Kalagai near Matta and Dambara near Choga and Banda Ghal, while six other suspects were apprehended at Salhand near Shah Dheri.
Meanwhile, 300,149 cash cards have been distributed amongst the IDPs of Malakand, the ISPR said. (ANI)
