3 burqa-clad terrorists shot dead in Pakistan
November 15th, 2009 - 1:15 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Nov 15 (IANS) Three burqa-clad terrorists were gunned down Sunday morning when they targetted the house of a village council head near the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar.
Terrorists attacked the house of Union Council Nazim (village council head) in Budah Ber village of Peshawar. The three terrorists - clad in burqa - were killed on the spot in counter-firing.
Nazim Mohammad Fahim told Geo News that three terrorists attacked his guestroom early Sunday morning.
Police have surrounded the area.
Pakistan has witnessed a fresh wave of violence since Oct 5. Over 200 people have been killed in terror attacks, including massive bombings, in Peshawar.
