26/11: Pak resumes case against 5 LeT
August 29th, 2009 - 4:24 pm ICT by IBNSIslamabad, Aug 29 (IBNS) A Pakistan anti-terror court Saturday resumed the hearing into the case against five Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants, including chief Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, who were allegedly linked to the Mumbai Terror Attack.
The hearing is being held in-camera at the anti-terror court no 2 in the high-security Adiala Jail of Rawalpindi. But details of the hearing could not be received as the court has slapped gag orders on lawyers.
While Lakhvi is accused of masterminding the attack, the four others, including LeT’s communications expert Zarar Shah, Abu al-Qama, Hamad Amin Sadiq and Shahid Jamil Riaz are being charged as facilitators, manager of funds and for locating hideouts for the attackers.
The last hearing on this case was held July 25.
