20 Taliban militants killed

Kabul, June 24 (IANS) Twenty Taliban militants and a NATO soldier have been killed in continuing violence in Afghanistan, the interior ministry said Sunday.
A coordinated overnight operation in several Afghan provinces by police and the NATO-led coalition forces left the militants dead, Xinhua reported.
Separately, a NATO soldier died when an improvised explosive device exploded in southern Afghanistan.
