Islamabad, Aug 19 (DPA) At least 20 people were killed Tuesday when a bomb exploded in a hospital in Pakistan’s northwest city of Dera Ismail Khan, an official said.The bomb exploded in the emergency ward of the hospital, said Mohsin Shah, the head of the local administration.
A crowd had gathered in the ward because of an earlier murder. The body of a state-run grocery store employee was brought to the hospital after he was shot dead by unknown gunmen in the city.
Among the injured were also four policemen who were investigating the murder.
A duty officer in a local police station who confirmed the blast said details were pending.
