20 killed, 40 injured in Pakistan blast
January 10th, 2012 - 2:54 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Jan 10 (IANS) At least 20 people were killed and about 40 injured in a blast in a market in a town in northwest Pakistan.
The incident occurred when a blast hit a taxi stand, located in Jamrud town’s market, in northwest tribal area of Khyber Agency in the morning, Xinhua reported citing PTV.
The local administrator of Jamrud confirmed the toll in the bomb attack.
According to Geo News, the injured people were rushed to hospitals in neighbouring Peshawar city.
