18 killed in passenger van bomb blast in Pak’s KP province
January 17th, 2011 - 12:46 pm ICT by ANIKohat, Jan 17(ANI): At least 18 people have been killed in a bomb attack on a passenger van in Pakistan’s Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.
The ill-fated van was coming from Hangu on Monday when the blast took place, Geo News reports.
Rescue teams and the police have reached the spot, and the dead and injured are being shifted to the nearby hospitals.Rejecting earlier reports of a suicide attack, DIG Kohat Masood Afridi said the nature of the blast was still not known.
‘Terrorism can not be ruled out,’ he added. (ANI)
