15 killed in Pak crowded market suicide bomb attack
December 8th, 2010 - 4:54 pm ICT by ANIKohat, Dec 8(ANI): At least 15 people were killed and over 20 others injured in a powerful bomb blast in Kohat, a town in northwest Pakistan, on Wednesday.
According to the Dawn, the bomb explosion took place in the crowded Tirah bazaar.
A senior police official said that the bomb was planted in a small passenger bus parked at the Tirah bazaar bus terminal.
He said that the injured have been shifted to a local hospital, and the area has been cordoned off for investigation.
It is also being suspected that a suicide bomber may have carried out the attack. (ANI)
