10 killed in Pakistan suicide bombing (Lead)
March 5th, 2010 - 5:08 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, March 5 (IANS) Ten people were killed and 15 wounded Friday in a suicide bomb attack in Pakistan’s North West Frontier Province (NWFP), an official said.
The bomber detonated the explosives near a convoy of passenger busses in Hangu district of NWFP, commissioner Khalid Khan said. Three vehicles were destroyed, Xinhua reported.
Witnesses said the blast occurred near a petrol station in Thall market.
The injured were taken to military and civilian hospitals in the area.
Security forces have cordoned off the area after the blast.
