Nebraska, June 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The first dog in the world to be fitted with four set of bionic legs is Naki’o. The animal lost all its limbs after the owners abandoned it along with its siblings. The animal was then barely 5 weeks old. When the animal was seen, the freeze had taken its toll on the paws of Naki’o and his was barely able to use them.

Naki’o seems to have adjusted to its new paws perfectly. The plight of the animal touched vet technician Christie Tomlinson who decided to help. She subsequently organized an appeal for funds to raise the money for Naki’o to regain its two hind legs. After the procedure the Orthopets were so impressed with the outcome that they decided to fit two more bionic legs for free.

Naki’o is now able to use his paws again and a video of the dog playing in a park has been uploaded on the Internet. The dog is now able to do most of the simple tricks and can play like other dogs thanks to the new legs that have been fitted for him.
