Washington, Feb 10 (IANS) US space shuttle Endeavour docked with the International Space Station (ISS) Wednesday.
Endeavour was launched Monday from the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida. It is delivering a new room and a seven-windowed dome observation deck for the ISS, US space agency NASA said.

The new room, named Tranquility, and the observation deck will be installed on the station during three spacewalks on the shuttle’s 13-day construction mission, Xinhua reported.

Tranquility will provide additional room for crewmembers and many of the space station’s life support and environmental control systems. This will be the last major construction job for the space station.
