US Cyber Team Hackers Come Out Of Veil Of Obscurity

bootAug 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In a recent development an US cyber team that was engaged in tracking down malicious hackers unveiled the cloak of secrecy for acquiring hackers at a Defcon meet. The team named Vigilant was described as a team dealing with mobsters, terrorists and other miscreants on the web. The team’s chief who calls himself Uber said that his team members are capable of doing things that the government staff simply cannot perform. The team deliberately kept its operations top secret the chief said at the meet.

The group scans the web traffic for hints on online attacks and terrorist activities and plans plotted by extremist groups. It has its staff in more than 20 countries who supply secret data to the group about the ongoing undercover activities in those places. The agency also looks for information offline but the majority of data it gets is acquired from the World Wide Web. The chief of the agency claimed that the entity does not breach US cyber laws while outperform the government agencies that are bottlenecked by bureaucracy and other issues. Vigilant tries to probe why cyber attacks take place and how they can be thwarted.

Vigilant keeps in touch with the top notch US spy agencies and also shares data with them from time to time. The entity is committed to get knowledge while staying within the limits of the law and assemble pieces to get the broader picture. It is now trying to track the terrorist organizations that are recruiting young people to carry out their attacks. Apart from talented hackers the entity is also on the lookout for the psychologists and sociologists.
