Oct 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The news of UFO’s hovering over the Chinese skies has again hogged the limelight after a reports emerging that claim that an unidentified object has again been seen in Chinese skies. It has been reported earlier that a major airport in the country was shut down as the authorities intended to prevent passenger jets crashing with the unidentified objects. Officials of the airport in Baotou, in the Inner Mongolia region were supposedly forced to close it down after the object was spotted hovering over the periphery of the airports skies before it suddenly disappeared into nowhere, reports have claimed.
According to reports, as many as three flights which were on their way to the Baotou airport from the major Chinese cities of Shanghai and Beijing had to be diverted to the nearest airports following the appearance of the UFO in the night sky last month. Airport officials who claim to have seen the UFO have revealed to the media outlets that the object was flat and tubular in structure and the decision to shut down the airport was taken after it zoomed really close to the airport. While talking about the incident, an official of the airport told reporters that the passenger jets were diverted to ensure the safety and security as otherwise a collision between the two would have ensued.
China has been in the news for UFO sightings for quite some time now. In the month of July earlier this year, Xiaoshan, in Zhejiang province had been closed down for a brief period of time after an ‘oddly-shaped, twinkling bright light’ was spotted in the sky of the region. A similar incident was also reported in Hong Kong earlier this year which had sparked a panic among residents.
