The notice on the website says “An even better Blackplanet.com is coming back soon!”
Its been 9 years since Omar Wasow, internet analyst launched his website called Blackplanet, place where you can have your own world once enter the website as the logo tells.
Blackplanet.com is a platform to showcase the African American Diaspora, aimed at building positive relationships and healthy communities. The growth of popularity and membership go on increasing with now over 17 million members worldwide. This site is said to be the ideal place to exchange notes, voice your opinions and open out your heart to the rest of the world. Blackplanet.com exactly fits into the tag of an ‘ideal’ online community.
The website has been featured with simplicity, does not seemed to be very attractive but it regards eye flow direction of users and the color used is not too flashy. It allows users to chat or post photos and videos to share your black experience. You can take a look for other African Americans who are sharing theirs profile, It also allows you to search for news about what’s hot in music,fashion, sports and events or looking for the buzz in business, politics and trends. You can even find your date through Blackplanet dating.

blackplanet ls such a disappiontment that i will never advace my friends to jiont in to this planet can not immagine that everytime a browe it does not open

I am appalled by this.
If we had a “whiteplanet.com” that had “the world is yours” on it, people would stroke. ESPECIALLY black people.
So tell me, why can blacks rap about killing whites, but whites can’t rap about killing blacks?
