Thanks to Chandrayaan Indian tricolour is now on the moon

Today at 8:31pm the Moon Impact Probe (MIP) “Crash Landed” successfuly on the moon making India one of the only 4 nations who have sent successful missions on the moon.
ISRO has just named the Moon Impact Probe as “Aditya”
The Probe has already sent signals back to Chandrayaan confirming its success.
The moon mission is the brain-child of A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
Kalam said in a press conference after the success, “It’s a great experience for me”.
The Chandrayaan is to orbit the moon for 2 years and will be sending back important data about the moon.
