“India needs to work together with different nations to bring down the cost of space transportation. The country is working on reducing the cost of space transportation,” said Kalam while delivering the M.P. Birla Memorial Lecture here.
He was also conferred the M.P. Birla Golden Jubilee Award by M.P. Birla Institute of Fundamental Research on the occasion.
“India can become the leader in space science. We need low cost access to space,” he said.
